Outreach at Christ Episcopal Church in Charlevoix is an important part of our life and provides blessings in return for the effort we put forward. Our efforts and donations serve to answer known and requested needs, and take many forms and directions of time, talent and treasure.
We are active in multiple group-effort fundraisers, for local ministries, such as the SouperBowl brunch and the Advent Tea. And, we provide budgeted and designated fund donations for special needs and scholarships. We are particularly mindful of the needs and requests of the local community at the Charlevoix Ministerial Association, Charlevoix Community Food Pantry, Rainbow Shoppe, Joppa House, Moms & Tots, and Project Connect as well as our military members and college students. Many outreach endeavors depend on the skills, knowledge, experience and calling of our parishioners such as mission trips, prayer shawl circle, tutoring and walking in the CROP Walk.
We encourage our members to bring food items for the Charlevoix Community Food Pantry when they come to worship on Sundays, especially the first Sunday of each month.

The 13th Annual Advent Tea was held on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Our guests received an elegant afternoon tea including savories and sweets. The Country Market had homemade treats for purchase. Proceeds from the tea were designated community outreach projects. Hours were 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. The suggested donation was $15.00 per person. Tickets were available at the door or in advance from church members.
